A return label was provided for a return for damaged goods I received. I assume the label was generated by eBay although it could have been the seller for all I know. The original transaction and shipping label was from an Arizona address. The return label on the otherhand was for an address in Erie PA. This, I failed to notice until the damaged item was returned to me with a label indicating "Vacant, return to sender", that of course was me. The seller does not respond to multiple attempts for guidance. Meanwhile Ebay states that the return is complete and a full refund has been issued to my PayPal account.. but strangely, I'm unable to access or transfer my refund and I remain in possession of the damaged item. Could use some help, much thanks!!

The refund goes back to the original funding source you used to pay for your item. Paypal is just the payment processor. If you log into your Paypal account, you will be able to see the funding source used for the refund.
You can dispose of the damaged item since you have already been refunded.
