need advice possible scam please help

short part of story is buyer started a return supposedly shipped, tracking says post office never received item and is still waiting on it. I have never received it. Ebay is telling me item has been returned and to refund buyer. With that message is the original tracking from my house to there's showing it was delivered yes it was originally delivered to there home that is not the return tracking.

It can't be both ways.  Ebay saying the tracking shows delivered to you and the PO tracking showing it hasn't even been dropped off.  Something has to be wrong.

Contact Ebay and ask them to email you the tracking they are seeing that you are not.  Do they have a different tracking number than you do.  Something isn't right as the tracking on ONE package can't read both ways.

On each Ebay page there is a link to contact Customer Service at the top of the page and again at the bottom of the page.

I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.

all day long on phone chat with ebay usps went to usps package was 2.7 oz when left his house one pound when it left my house nothing resolved given  no straight answers id been better off refunding the 80 dollars than dealing with this stress lol they did give me 10 more days before i have to pay him probably lol im  not sure he a scammer but wrong street on label package lost on way back to him weight way off. Apparently ebay auto sent me a message to pay him because time was up for return even though they did say on there if item isnt returned they will close the case, but instead they send me a message that item is delivered an pay up. I think its time to retire again lol

this day has caused me to fall off the wagon i better get off here before i get to brave you ebay reps were great i know u can only tell me what they allow you too ya too they probly read this Haily and April awesome
