was checking my regular email this morning and saw 2 messages from Ebay that arrived together overnight, but were actually sent on the 23rd and the 25th about an item that was purchased on the 21st. I use the Ebay app to manage my account and had gotten ZERO notifications about the sale or the follow up messages from the buyer!
I reached out to them immediately and they were understanding - the item was shipped with a priority upgrade I paid for to make up to some degree the inconvenience of them not hearing anything from me. The buyer let me know that they were notified that the item had shipped on the 21st! They tried to cancel yesterday and could not. What the heck?
It's all worked out in the end minus the extra shipping I paid - but what's going on? Anyone else have weird things like this recently? I confirmed that my app is set for all notifications. At least the email copies to gmail should have come through the same day, but that also didn't happen. I also missed out on offers made on other items because I wasn't notified that they had been made.
I'm not a high volume seller and not on Ebay daily, so this is concerning - many items are seasonal and we're entering the time of year when I sell the most. Help! I'd hate to lose my 100% satisfaction rating because my notifications entered the Matrix...
