mailing using envelopes

Hi.  How do I calculate my shipping using a shipping envelope rather than a box?  I would image that on some items I could same some money.  Thanks!

Buyers pay shipping, so there is no reason to cheap out. 
Sellers are responsible for getting the item safely to the buyer. Pack items carefully so as to avoid damage. 

Looking at your listings, there are only a few that should not be in a box.
