Do the browser and time correspond to your own sign-in activity? Is the location information consistent every time you sign in? Or, conversely, are you signing in using a different network than you normally do, or using a VPN or a hotspot? Or specific privacy software that might alter your network location?
eBay has been sending such messages for each sign-in from an unrecognized browser. Unrecognized just means that the browser has no cookies from a previous sign-in to that account, or the IP address does not correspond to a previous sign-in.
If you are routinely erasing your browser cookies, or changing your network address, you can expect to receive such messages when you sign in again.
Keep in mind that the location comes from the network used and may not be precise; it may correspond to the location of the network's central office rather than your actual location. Browser information may not always be available.
If you do not recognize the location, time or browser, and you suspect that someone else may have gained access to your account, you may want to change your eBay password and your email password.
If you have social media accounts connected to your eBay account, consider unlinking those or change those passwords as well, as they could present a path into your account even after a password change.
We want your journey here to be as great as can be, so we have put together some links to help you get quickly familiarized with the eBay Community.
