item returned by the post office as non-deliverable

How do you deal with an order returned by post office as non-deliverable?  Do we have to refund the full amount including the postage?  I had to pay for the postage and the post office doesn't refund it.

If the item is returned as non-deliverable then the buyer loses their money back guaranty.  You should be able to refund less the original shipping charge.  If the buyer still wants the item they would have to pay the shipping charges again although this can be a problem as you cannot bill them through eBay.  You would have to find another way to get the money from the buyer.

Thank You.  I refunded the price of the item and told them they would need to repurchase the item and pay shipping again if they want it sent to another address.
