is there a way to change the length of time a sent offer lasts?

i have noticed that all of my offers seem to last longer than i want them to. Is there any way to change that?

If you are a buyer, your offers are good for 24 hours.

According to Ebay: The seller has 24 hours to decide whether to accept or decline your offer. 

If you are a seller, the offer you make the buyer is good for 96 hours.

According to Ebay: Each offer is valid for 96 hours or until the listing is sold, whichever comes first.
