ebay has turned into a completely crooked company. they are now charging 13% of your sale including taking 13% of your shipping (if you offer free shipping to your customers) plus 13% of federal taxes. this is absolutely corrupt and should be illegal but they claim it is not. I am done. **bleep** EBAY!!!!

• It’s actually 12.55%, I guess you’re rounding up.  When we were with PayPal, it was higher.  Overall, fees have gone down slightly.
• PayPal always charged their fee on the shipping, too, so this is really nothing new.
• Given the alternative between paying Ebay 12.55% of the taxes collected vs. me having to keep track of all the different taxing rates across the country, and me having to process and remit those taxes collected, I’ll gladly pay Ebay 12.55% to do all that bookkeeping for me.
