Using the "Clear all" link on the Recently Viewed page deleted my eBay search history as well, the last time I used it, though that does not necessarily remove all past search information from the site entirely.
You may still see items based on past searches on the main eBay page, for instance. Those could only be displaced by performing new searches, unless things have changed recently.
And the last four items viewed still appear on the Summary and Purchase History pages, I believe.
