@livs4auctions First you need to use the Business Listing Tool or the New Listing tool.
I recommend the Business listing tool.
Select switch to the Business Tool (or Classic Tool) on the upper right-hand side of the DRAFT (not an active listing) on a PC/ Mac. Ignore the warning, anyone can use this tool. This tool is free to use and it doesn't mean you have a Business Account, it's just what eBay calls the listing tool because they have more than one. Private sellers can use this listing tool.
Or start a listing from this link: https://bulksell.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?SingleList
Next on the upper right of the description box select Advanced editing.
Then click on the down arrow where it says insert custom template. Select create template.
Then when you want to use the templates you will need to select advanced editing to access them.

Make sure you're using the Business/Advanced listing tool.
In your draft Item Desc section -click on "Advanced editing" over on the right side -
On the Advanced editing screen, select "Create template" from the down arrow options -
Create and name your template -
When you want to use it, make sure to select "Advanced editing" firs,t then select your named template from the dropdown.
