ebay removed item for suspected counterfeit

I don't get it, they removed a deck of pokemon cards that are already being sold on other seller's listings.  The same set of cards.  They don't explain exactly how they determined that my listed item was a counterfeit, but they ended the listing.  How can I get it relisted, I already sold one of the decks of gold foil pokemon cards and I would like to sell the other?  Any help would be appreciated.  By the way, I would be asking ebay these questions, but I can't find a way to contact them other than the help and support section and it seems to be a viscous circle.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

Re: ebay removed item for suspected counterfeit

Do not relist unless the matter is resolved.

Generally for one item is is not worth the effort to fight this, especially if you did not get a VeRO notice and it was just ebay removing the item.

Contacting ebay probably will not help, but you can try.

Re: ebay removed item for suspected counterfeit

Thank you for your help.  The email subject line was "Your listing was removed: Counterfeit item policy" so I'm not sure if that is considered to be a VeRO, but that wasn't mentioned in the email.  There also included this statement in the email "

How this affects your account

Because you may not have been aware of this policy, we're sending this notice to educate you about it and ask that you follow this policy in the future."

I think that a lack of pictures of the cards themselves may have been part of the issue.  Funny thing is that other sellers are selling the same item with a single picture of the box in their listing also. Oh well, not a huge loss.  Again, thank you for your help, I really appreciate it!!

Re: ebay removed item for suspected counterfeit

If had been VeRO you would have gotten that notice specifically and you would have half a chance of fighting it.   But just the ebay bots taking you down gives you very little or no recourse.

Others may just not be caught, or something particular in the your listing was snagged by the bots, which often make mistakes.  So unless you can figure out exactly what the problem is, you do not want to relist, as you are now on ebay's radar.  Even if you called ebay and got reinstated, those bots may still flag you.  So best to just move on.
