ebay phone app won't scan barcodes

I have a book selling business and the ebay app on my phone that I stopped scanning barcodes.  My phone works fine since other businesses phone apps  will read bar codes.  Help

@conagte   Many mobile app issues can be solved by updating to the latest version of the eBay mobile app. Uninstall the current app. Turn your device off, then back on. Reinstall the eBay mobile app.
