Two weeks ago, I was able to combine any number of gift cards on one order to pay for it.
Now, if I attempt to use more than two such cards, I am confronted with a message that I've used "a lot" of gift cards, and that I ought to try again at some unspecified future date.
So of course now I cannot get a refund on my worthless eBay cards.
How is this *not* theft by deception on eBay's part?

Here is eBay's gift card policy:
https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/paying-items/ebay-gift-cards?id=4640
https://pages.ebay.com/giftcard/terms_conditions.html
"No more than a total of $1000 in Gift Cards may be redeemed per day, and no more than a total of $1500 in Gift Cards may be redeemed per calendar month. Further, you may only redeem a maximum of four Gift Cards in any single transaction (and fewer if you are redeeming Gift Cards in combination with other redemption codes, such as coupons or vouchers)."
The way I read this, the calendar month ends in a couple of days and your $1500 monthly limit is again available on the first of the month.

Thank you very much!
I find it very disappointing that these important and entirely arbitrary restrictions are not *printed right on the front of the card.*
Also a let-down is the utter lack of transparency. There is no way to view the transaction history of a card, for instance.
Not all retailers are *required* to stock or sell all denominations of cards.
This is very poorly executed.
But thank you for your answer!
