I purchased an item that didn't seem to work when it arrived so I created a return request. Subsequently (and I mean within 15 minutes) we got the vacuum cleaner to work and so I canceled the return request and wrote, that we got it working and would give it a chance to see if it was just a glitch. It turns out it wasn't a glitch and when i went in to return it the system told me I had already created a return request and cancelled it and it can't be re-opened or appealed because eBay never had a chance to get involved.
There is no warning when cancelling a return request that if you do it you will NEVER again be allowed to re-open the request. I contact customer service and got absolutely nowhere. They were very nice and read their scripts to me quite well. It was a joke. I now have to hope the seller replies to my email requests for a return. Has anyone ever been able to fix this?
