Sold my Kobe Bryant card which was Beckett graded with sub grades and autograph. This was sent to eBay authentication when the buyer bought this. The card has a Kobe patch and autograph which states on the back of the card as guarantee patch and autograph by the Panini card company so why does eBay authentication state the following:
Your item was authenticated, but we wanted to let you know that it also contains an aftermarket signature or an embedded relic that we don’t authenticate as part of our process. We stand behind the authenticity of your item, but we can’t guarantee things like relics, memorabilia, or aftermarket autographs. The card is not an aftermarket autograph or patch. I don’t understand why would eBay authentication service put something out there that can be construed as in doubt? Should I now be concerned about this? Thanks for any insight.
