Can I list a lot of different CDs with a buy 5 for $20, where the buyer can choose the 5 they want and pay the $20.

No.  You can put them all in 1 listing with a quantity discount to encourage buyers to purchase 5 for $20, but you have to let them buy any quantity.

I found this is ebay sale, which is what I was talking about:

selling multiple items on one page and letting the buyer pick which one they want.

I can't figure out how to list all of the cd titles like they did here.  I will keep trying I guess.

That is a variations listing - what I sent you the instructions for.  You can't say that the buyer has to pick 5 - you have to set a price for each
