My item was damaged during transportation, what should i take a next step to get a compensation dor this damage?

You can ask the buyer to provide photos of the damaged item ... AND all the packaging materials.  Then you can open an insurance claim online.  Ask buyer to hold on to the item and materials.

You will need to refund the buyer regardless of what happens with the insurance claim ... so don't wait too long to do it.
