contact buyer button not working

contact buyer button not working. I click on contact buyer button and it goes to the messages page and there is no option to contact the buyer on this page.

I went to Seller Hub > Orders > Awaiting shipment > Contact buyer

and on the page I could see the purchased item, item number, order number, and a text box for a message, and at the bottom is SEND MESSAGE.  

Is that anywhere close to what you are seeing?
