With changes that eBay has made, I no longer can make payments using the eBay CART. What happens is after I am asked to select how I pay, and also after I put my name, address and details in, I then go to purchase the item by selecting "Pay Now", except that I get a black circle with a bar through it. Is anyone else having this issue?

If you placed an item in your cart, and you are signed in to your Ebay account, you should not have to enter any of your information, just click on the "Go to checkout" to pay for your item.

Hello, I still am not sure what caused this problem, but what I did notice was that the first item that I couldn't get the cart to work when I selected to pay it. So I took another close at the item info which said " Click and Collect" in red. The seller even stated that they did not know why the sale kept failing. So I decided to leave the item in the cart.. and go and buy a cheap item I didn't really need, made sure it did not have click and collect (China not Australia), put it in the cart, and everything worked as it always did since I first joined eBay in 2004. It seems the Click and Collect will completely block you without fairly telling you. So the sale worked perfectly. I got a new car key plastic cover (click and Collect item), and 50ml bottle of stainless steel flux from China. Happy for now. I thank you for helping me and I hope I helped some others too. I will report back to eBay and let them know about the RED high lighted Click and Collect sales and how they block sales that are not selected for click and collect but postage to your home address. I have a click and collect box/postage receival unit 40km away..Nuh, I want it in my letter box 🙂

I let the seller know that if click and collect is the only option to buy their item, and the buyer does not select a collection point, then the sale will fail as it did with me. I also let ebay and paypal know. Thank you for helping.
