Buyer received a damaged comic book- $ 2.99 ) I packaged and sent it in new condition- I noted on the package DO NOT BEND, it was delivered bent- I don't deliver product, I send it, whatever the mail service does is out of my control. the buyer DID NOT come to me first to rectify the situation- he went directly to Ebay and issued a negative feedback- AFTER i saw the feedback- i tried to rectify the situation by offering a new comic book- N/C- and if he could remove the feedback-and mentioned the Ebay suggestion - contact the seller first before going to Ebay. There should be a clause you can't issue a negative feedback until the buyer goes to the seller first, if that didn't work then you go to feedback.
This is the third time-a stamp for $ .99, I shipped it with I shipped with tracking, got to its next stop as per tracking- buyer never received- negative feedback- I sent him 2 of the same stamp didn't receive either one

If you do not want the carrier to bend the item, send it sandwiched between sheets of cardboard or send in a box. Carriers do not read Do Not Bend stickers on a package.

I frequently sell items that cannot be bent. I use the eBay-branded stiff paperboard mailers. I use my quarterly store coupon to purchase them.
As for the stamps, are you using the eBay Standard Envelope to ship them? That comes with $20 insurance.
