**bleep**???

eBay has made multiple payouts to me in the past few months. I was notified a few mins ago that an item I had listed just sold. Not even a minute later, I get another email saying that I need to verify my bank account. WHAT???? eBay has sent me literally 6-7 payouts...all have been deposited into the same bank account. Why do they now need to verify my bank information??? This is beyond stupid.

**bleep**???

Nope, NOT "stupid".  Ebay is responsible for Site Security and they may Random checks like this for that vary reason.  I'm sure you want Ebay to continue to keep your financial information safe and sound.  Well to do that, random checks are important.  We are talking about something that will only take you literally a minute or so.  I'm unsure as to why this got you so upset to give this thread the title you chose.

If you prefer that Ebay doesn't protect you, then don't answer their questions.  It will cause your account to get frozen, but then you won't have to answer their question you don't like.
