What is wrong with EBAY? They use to have good customer service but not any more!
They sent me an email today saying I had to get in touch with them within 24 hours or they would close my request but I've tried four times to request them to step in and get a page saying they are having a "technical hiccup". Their customer service number doesn't work any more. Their customersupport@ebay.com doesn't work any more, their recording says you can link to chat at the bottom of every page but I can't find anything. I buy a lot of stuff but this is complete **bleep** service.

I have tried all that already but just to show good faith I did it again and requested an agent. I got "Sorry, we're currently unavailable. Please check back later or search for more info." So again I tried to respond as EBAY is requiring me to do within 24 hours and got the same **bleep** response of a "Oops, we had a technical hiccup." Complete **bleep** service. How am I suppose to do anything on this broken site?

I did all this numerous times but keep getting the same "oops" message or a note saying they are not available. But THEY are requiring I respond within 24 hours or they will close my request!!!! Such a stupid system where THEY make it impossible to reach someone.

I've tried! I get to the point where I ask them to contact me and I get the message that they are unavailable!

Thanks for your help. I finally reached someone with a call back request. NOW they want me to wait until 7/8 for them to "step in" even though I told them my "step in" gets an "oops" response! I am so aggravated with this **bleep** service. It use to be good, but no more.

Glad you reached them.
My concern is if you need to do something on 7/8. My advice is to contact them again on 7/9 if nothing happened automatically.
I understood that this extra waiting time has something to do with posting delays due to Covid-19.

No. I think EBAY doesn't know up from down at this point. After speaking with them this morning and being told they could step in 7/8, they then sent me another email this afternoon saying my request HAD BEEN CLOSED due to my inactivity!!! I have wasted so much time on their inept business practices. So I again called them and requested a call back and spoke with a man and pointed out that they have TWICE said the package was delivered and that EBAY had given me TWO different tracking numbers and "delivered" dates and that I had called this morning and been given more **bleep** information. I cannot believe how much **bleep** I've had to deal with.
