asking a question

I need to ask the seller of an item a question and none of the **bleep** methods I found on ebay let me do that.

What happens when you use the "contact" link in the seller's listing or on the seller's profile page?

You should be able to use the "contact" link to send a message to the seller.

If you are having problems, try clicking on the "Send message" text to start typing your message.

Did you click on contact/ask seller button on the listing just below the seller's ID on the right?  If not there, then seller does not accept questions and I'd move on to another seller/listing.

Ebay allows Sellers to block anyone for any reason. Many Sellers who receive a question from a potential Buyer, look at the feedback that Buyer has left for other Sellers. If they see some negatives in there, they may not want to sell to that Buyer. 

Ebay cannot force a Seller to respond to or sell to a specific Buyer.
