I don't print packing slips, but I believe if you cannot add it before printing, just handwrite it on the packing slip.

From the bulk shipping page click on "Print packing slip and more" in the drop down menu next to any item. Click on Customize and enable the SKU (custom label) option. Now when you print a packing slip it will have the SKU printed on the label.
