Where can I find help to set up Variation Listings?

As a seller, these Variation Listings have to be the most complicated thing on ebay. Why isn't there a tutorial for this topic? The few instructions ebay has on their suppport page are amazingly awful. So I was on the phone for over an hour today with an ebay tech who couldn't even figure out how to do them. He was escalating the call to another tech, and guess what??? Since tech support is only certain hours, my call was automatically ended at the end of their support hours. He had my phone number, and I know he would have called me back if there was a possible way to do so.
