When are you shipping with the managed payments delay in payment fiasco?

With managed payments, payment gets to the sellers bank account in a MINIMUM(for me at least) 3  days after purchase. With paypal, it was in my account as soon as they paid, since I only used paypal as a payment method. Now, I am shipping days later since I am not shipping UNTIL I HAVE THE MONEY IN MY BANK ACCOUNT. I have had to make handling times at least 5 DAYS now. I do not trust ebay with really much of anything anymore, let alone handling MY MONEY. The buyer and sellers are both victims of this stupid managed payments system.  What is the community doing to protect themselves from ebay incompetence?

You are supposed to ship when Ebay notifies you that the buyer has paid and it is OK to ship.

Do not wait for the money to show up in your bank account otherwise you may be dinged for late shipping.
