What should I do - I forgot to add reference number to item going to global shipping center

What should I do? I mailed a sold item by USPS priority mail to the Global shipping center in Kentucky and forgot to write the reference number on the label (I wrote it by hand). Will it get to the buyer?  I just mailed the package yesterday. Its still in my city.

You may be able to pay for a retrieval. Contact your PO.

Did you include a packing list inside the box? If so, GSP may be able to get what they need from that.

Frankly, I don't know what they will do with an unidentifiable package. They might refuse it, send it back, or they might keep it and dispose of it locally. If they do the latter, your tracking will show it was received by GSP, but then there will be no GSP tracking number because you didn't use eBay labels. When the buyer opens an item not received request, the Global shipping program will have to deal with that issue.
