What does it mean when the price is crossed out on the "Sold items" list?

When I go to look at "Sold" items, some of them show with the price crossed out, while others show a price that isn't crossed out.  I have no idea what this crossing out means, and nothing I can find on the website explains this.  Does anyone know?

The crossed out price means the seller of the item accepted an Offer.  At one time ebay displayed the actual selling price when an offer was accepted.  Many sellers complained as they didn't want to reveal the amount they accepted, so ebay stopped displaying the actual amount the item was sold for.
