A seller sent me a radio kit for my vehicle that was faulty/defective. The stereo did not work. I contacted the seller to report the problem and the seller sent me a new memory board to replace inside the radio. I received and replaced the new memory board but the stereo is still not working. I gave the seller a chance to fix the radio and it did not work. I am now requesting a return/refund but the seller says the only thing they can do is send a new radio if I pay $130. This is unacceptable resolution from the seller. My problem is 30 days have passed since i purchased the radio, and I did not submit a refund request immediately, instead I contacted the seller to try and fix the problem with the radio. What can I do to get eBay involved to help me get a reasonable resolution (i.e., a refund or a new radio that is not defective) the seller?

You can file a dispute within 30 days from date of delivery.

If it has been more than 30 days since you received the item, you will need to contact the funding source you used to pay for the item.

Thanks for the feedback. Do you think the funding source for the purchase will help with this issue?

You would not have opened a refund request within 30 days from receipt since the seller could have rejected the request. You would have needed to open an "Item not as described" case which would have forced the seller to take the return and refund you.
Your payment source may or may not help you depending on the time frame since purchase and who the source is. Each payment source has different rules. All you can do is contact them to see if they can help.
