I bought an alternator August 19 .I got the alternator 5 days later . The part came damaged . I contacted the seller and told them . I also contacted eBay and told them . They asked for pictures I sent them pictures and they said if it wasn't resolved by the 16 of Sep. then they would get involved . During this time the seller contacted me and said it was the shipper . I agreed . Gave me some options . They could send me a return shipping label and maybe sometime get alternator when one came in . Then a few days later the seller offered to send me a replacement for the part if I installed it . I told them I was fine to go that route . A few days ago I went to install the part and when they assembled the alternator they wrecked on of the screw heads . So I couldn't remove the part unless I took drastic action . So i wrote the seller and during that time I decided I paid a lot of money for this item and I have waited a month . So I contacted eBay and said I need help . They said okay we will send you a label and you ship it back for a refund . Then I read further I have to pay for shipping . I called eBay today and said I shouldn't have to pay for shipping and was told I was right and they would send me a shipping label contact the seller and they could send me another alternator or refund my purchase and I keep the alternator . Then I get an email tonight that said they stand by their original descision case closed . So I am **bleep** nobody will back this up . This company has a 100 % percent customer rating . I am ready to leave their first negative . This isn't my fault I shouldn't have to pay shipping someone said turn it over to paypal. I am not sure I used paypal because when I went to their site it didn't show my purchase . What should I do ?

Contact your credit card company.
In the future, as soon as you discovered you received a damaged item, file an Ebay Return Request and if the seller did not send you a prepaid return shipping label or a refund, you could have asked Ebay to step in to help you 4 days later. No dilly-dallying back & forth with the seller.
