I need help trying to get my item I bought replaced .
His website says there is a 5 year warranty for the item.

Sellers cannot issue warranties unless they are an authorized dealer for the company that manufactures the item.
You can try to contact the manufacturer, but they don't usually honor warranties sold on Ebay unless the item was sold by an authorized dealer.

The item is headlights for my car. There is no information listed about who the manufacturer is.
Here in California, if it's listed as it is in his website, he is responsible for the warranty. He is acting as an agent for the manufacturer.

Whatever it says on the seller's website is not applicable to their Ebay listings.
You say he is "acting as an agent for the manufacturer" but you stated there is no information about the manufacturer.
When there is no warranty information on the listing page, no manufacturer information, it would be best not to make the purchase.
Some sellers, especially those in China, advertise a "warranty" on their listings to attract buyers where there IS NO warranty.
Almost all items sold on eBay have no warranty. Only items sold by factory dealers are covered. Items sold by others are second hand sales and are often not covered even if the item was never used. The buyer would have to purchase a third party warranty.
