How do I verify a seller has partially refunded my purchase with eBay? Does eBay do it or does the seller? Thanks

Looks like your seller is trying to stall you until it is too late for you to return the item and then have the case closed in the seller's favor.
Go to the Return Request in the Resolution Center, if you don't see any refund pending, you need to either contact ebay or make sure you use the supplied label before the cutoff date.
Make sure not to close or let the case expire without getting ebay involved.

Any partial refund the seller sent will credit to the original funding source. If this was a credit/debit card it can take extra time to show up depending on your card company's processing time. You should have received a confirmation that a refund was made even if not credited yet.

That's fine, thank you. But how do I ACTUALLY VERIFY that the seller has a partial refund in the pipeline, NOW? Who/where in eBay do I contact? Thanks, SNT

Go to your Purchase history and open the order details. It should show any partial refund there, if one was made.

There's no update in the area you're talking. This was to have been requested 19 Aug 2022. Would the weekend slow down the posting of the request that much if any??

Did you actually open a dispute to get a partial refund, or did seller just say he'd send you one?

A return was underway, until we came to an agreement for a $350.- refund on a $842.- transaction.
The last 2 correspondences are below. I'm Stephen and he is Casey. This was on 19 Aug 2022. So, I was curious just how long it would take for something to show up. WHY?? Because this guy has been such a pain in the BUTT. This item was damaged upon arrival. I want this over with and closed. Otherwise if he's just shuck and jiving, I'm ready to ship this thing back to him. I have a shipping label. I just haven't used it yet. Thank you again for any future responses, Stephen
