Using multiple Visa gift card to purchase an item

Is it possible to use multiple VISA gift cards to buy a single item?  Each VIS gift card has a preset limit.

No, you cannot use multiple funding sources to pay for an item unless one funding source is an Ebay gift card and the remaining balance would be paid by a credit card.
