Can coupons be used when making an offer? There is currently a 15% off automatic eBay coupon for certain jewelry. If I make an offer, how would this be redeemed? It’s automatically applied when checking out using buy now, but if my offer is accepted I won’t be adding it to my cart/checking out. I have read thru all of the help sections regarding buying, coupons, payments and cannot find the answer. I appreciate any help

Generally coupons can not be used in conjunction with best offer, but you should check the terms/conditions for that coupon.

Ty. Unfortunately, the coupon terms/conditionds do not even address this issue (I reviewed it multiple times). And the Amazon rules call out that only 1 coupon/offer can be applied when accepting and offer, but there are no other coupon scenarios addressed. I have been experiencing a similar issue with sellers automatic discounts/coupons and offers. The seller’s automatic additional discount/coupon is not and cannot be added during checkout as it would when making a direct purchase. However, I keep getting offers from sellers that are higher that the discounted purchase price. It makes no sense.

Usually a coupon offered by ebay includes this paragraph -
Coupon does not apply to auction-style listings, purchases made through Best Offer or Seller Offer features, or any listings in the Real Estate, Motors Vehicles, or Coins & Currency categories.
I don’t know why the seller would send an offer that would result in a higher price, except that they might not be familiar with the terms either 🙂

Ty for your help. My most recent message was referring to sellers’ coupons ‘perks and promotions’ that are automatically applied during checkout. For some reason, I keep getting offers that are higher than the price would be with the coupon. Apparently there is no way to apply the coupon when accepting an offer (I tried manually and the terms/conditions state they can’t be applied to discounted price). Maybe it’s just a glitch or misunderstanding on the sellers’ part, it’s just surprising because it has happened so many times from top sellers.
