Hello. What is the phrase called, when a Seller is using a famous name to help sell an item. For example, a glass vase in the 'style of Lalique'. Or a silver bowl, 'after Tiffany'. What is that called and is there any penalty for the Seller when they use that kind of terminology? Look forward to hearing.

eBay calls it search-and-browse manipulation because it uses some other brand name to describe an item that is not that brand. It is a policy violation.

When reporting the listing, select these options:
1. Listing practices
2. Search and browse manipulation
3. Misusing a brand name
4. "Continue" to open Comment box.
