So we are not sure if anyone at ebay knows exactly what is going on here. We have been told by two different stories by ebay representatives. One last week said that if we do not have business policies, that we do not need to worry about any of our listings that have first class shipping and then today we were told by another representative that we need to change all of our listings that have first class USPS shipping regardless if we have business policies or not. They suggested a bulk edit or a shipping policy. We do not sell that same size or weight items and ship by various methods. We have been told to just let our items go into our unsold section when they do not relist and change those listings. (THAT IS AN ABSURD ANSWER) or just change all of our listings to USPS Ground Advantage no matter how we ship the item. They do not have an answer to this issue. They are just grasping at straws and did not think this through.

And for all of you sellers that have put a flat shipping cost for all of your buyers and you do this recommended edit that Ebay is suggesting, all of your listings will be calculated shipping now. (PER EBAY)

Sorry, but the CS reps are not well versed in ‘how to’.
First class items need to be edited to change them to ground advantage. It was supposed to be available today, but was not yet available this morning. The announcement suggests changing them over the next 30 days.
There is no indication of anything being changed from flat rate to calculated - eBay could not do that even if they wanted to, since weight and dimensions are required for calculated shipping.

We've asked eBay for a tool for help with this (it affects me in a big was too so I hear you), but nothing has been forthcoming so far. We have 30 days, so maybe there is still hope. In the meantime, if you have no hope and want to get started, follow the instructions from the announcement here:
For those of us who don't use business policies and bulk edit is unworkable, we'll need to change our listings one by one.

Below is a link to a thread with a tutorial that a fellow member had put together to provide an approach to handle this change. It's still time intensive, but provides some ideas if you don't already have a plan of attack.
We want your journey here to be as great as can be, so we have put together some links to help you get quickly familiarized with the eBay Community.
