I purchase numerous items, hand planes, from the UK. Quite often sellers with good scores and selling many items have the item marked "WILL NOT SHIP TO USA". I usually reach out to them via a message asking them to please consider shipping to me. They usually will return an answer flatly refusing to ship to USA without any reason. Occasionally I have explained to them how safe it is to use the ebay global shipping program, but they don't want to get involved. The global shipping program does have its drawbacks with respect to very high shipping fees, but that is of no consequence to the seller.
Just looking for some feedback from the community, and hopefully from some sellers in the UK
