Tracking uploaded on time and validated-Please help me understand how this works

I have several items in the area on my seller performance page.

some are completely wrong, some have been scanned but it's not showing on the ebay page but will show on the Pitney Bowes tracking site. They will not remove their mistake.

Am i to understand these "dings" will roll into a true defect the next period. If anyone can help me undertand what ebay is doing in this area or how do I get someone at ebay to explain this to me.

Missed tracking uploaded/validated do not become defects - it is a separate measurement.  You can have up to 5% of your items not meeting this measurement and still be top rated.  eBay will not correct tracking info unless it is going to change your status.  I know it is frustrating to know there is incorrect data, but as long as you are within the parameters, you have to live with it.

The more frustration is the fact that ebay is stating the scan was missed or not uploaded on time by USPS tracking. But if you go to the https://parcelsapp.com/en/tracking/ you will see that the UPSP partners with Pitney Bowes will show that they have the item and it is scanned. As I understand the envelopes go to the international shipping hub handled by Pitney Bowes althrough the mailing is domestic. .

Boy, I can understand why that is frustrating.  If you use facebook, I would post the issue to the eBay for business page to make them aware of it.  https://www.facebook.com/eBayForBusiness

Or you could post it to the technical issues board here - not getting the data from their own provider certainly sounds like a tech issue to me 😞

My understanding is that the ebay standard envelope is read by the sorting machines, which is why they need to not exceed a certain size and be bendable, and why buyers will see DELIVERED several days before actually being delivered.
