Today ESUS269852506 reported a package delivered at 10:33 AM. The postal delivery time has come and gone today and NO package was delivered. By the time reported in the message it is clear to me that the claim of delivery occurs long before the package is dropped off in my mailbox. In this month two other deliveries were reported as delivered and the packages never arrived.

How can I check on this report to find out exactly where my packages have been delivered?

Also inside the delivery message is a USPS tracking number which USPS denies that the number is a valid USPS tracking number.

The ESUS numbers are not "tracked" by USPS. Those numbers are for ebay Standard Envelopes, which only covers specific items shipped in envelopes and are "read" by the USPS sorting machines. which is why they show "Delivered" several days before the buyer actually receives the item.

You can file an Item Not Received case to get your money back. The seller refunds you, and can then turn to ebay to get reimbursed.
