At the suggestion of several other sellers, I started using the Custom Labels section to enter the cost of goods for my items. Now I'm trying to create monthly sales reports (using upload to excel) . How can I get the Custom Label to go into the report?
Ebay for awhile had a column in the reports for cost of goods but they took it away a couple years ago and it just seems SO HARD now to track the cost of good for the items I sell.

Have you tried using the transaction report? The custom label is a standard field on this report. You can limit the report to just orders to eliminate the clutter of shipping labels, payouts, etc. https://www.ebay.com/sh/fin/report

Hi
Thank you for your reply.
i had already
found the transaction report with the custom label. I was just trying to find a short cut that didn’t involve opening every transaction and then manually adding up the cost of every item.
I have a Square store also and they have a Cost of Goods report that automatically adds that information to a report.
I can’t for the life of me figure out why eBay just doesn’t think tracking cost of goods is important.

Sorry to be dense, I'm not understanding the 'opening every transaction'.
Doesn't the amount you entered on the item show in the custom label field on the transaction report? So you can just add a total to that column?
