Stop Ebay Messages to Email

Can someone tell me how to stop receiving emails, especially messages?  I've looked everywhere and can find no place where you can stop ebay from sending me an email every time I get a message from them or a member.  I've searched the web, the mobile app and all my account settings and find no option.  Thanks.

There is a setting in your Communication Preferences that deals with where messages to or from other members are sent. It is located at the top under "Delivery Options".

Give eBay another email address (one that you control, please) to have the messages sent somewhere else.

If you use gmail you can create a unique email address based on a current email prefix, and then create a filter than sends mail to that unique address to its own folder, skipping your inbox.

Followed the first link you gave me which I have tried before.  I see "Delivery Options" with the choice to edit the notification delivery format (text vs. graphics).  That's not it.  I see "Buyer"  Buying Activity and Best Offer  edit options.  Neither of those say anything about messages going to my email.  I see "Seller" - Selling Activity, Seller Tools, Seller Performance Notifications and Seller Payment Reports.  Under selling activity I have nothing checked but there is nothing there about message notifications.  Under Seller Tools there is only one choice "Ebay Sales Report Updates".  The other two are also not relevant.  As I mentioned, I don't see anything related to setting preferences for sending emails.  Am I missing something?  Thanks.
