Still being charged listing fees after opening a store

I just signed up for an eBay store because I was being charged .35 for everything renewing. So, wow, I thought I had a 1000 listing, (i still had under 250). I listed with confidence that I had that amount left to list and, really? I was charged .25 and and haven't listed anything this month...what is up? Thanks for any help...I am ready to quit at this point

It sounds like you subscribed to a Basic store.  That comes with x number of fixed priced listings in specific categories, and x number of auction style listings in specific categories.  If you list in other categories not included, you are charged a discounted rate of .25 for those listings.
