I ordered an item on the 12th of June and they haven’t shipped. It’s now the 19th. I can’t contact the seller because his messages are off. I’m trying to contact eBay but I keep being advised to contact the seller. What should I do? At this point I don’t even want the item.

What is the estimated date of delivery as shown in your Order Details? Has that date passed already?
IF/WHEN the latest estimated date of delivery has already passed by at least 1 day, you have up to 30 days past estimated date of delivery to file a Refund Request:
Go to your My Ebay page >> Purchase history
If the seller does not respond after 3 days, you can ask Ebay to step in to help you.

What is the ‘estimated delivery date’ (EDD) you received when you purchased the item? [You will find it in your Purchase History.]
That is the date that tells you whether or not the item is ‘late’. Sellers can have a handling time as long as 30 days … so a seller not showing shipping within a week isn’t necessarily problematic.
You can file an ‘item not received’ dispute as soon as the EDD has passed.
BTW, most eBay sellers ship promptly … within 3 business days … and some sellers ship without notification. Your package may actually be on its way.
