Shipping mysteriously changed to free

I do not offer free shipping when I list, yet three times in the past 8 months, items have sold and the shipping is free.  Has this happened to anyone else?  I'm very careful when I list.  I don't believe, after weighing the item and selecting my shipping--always either USPS Priority or First Class, that I am then selecting free shipping.

I had it happen a few times, years ago when I used calculated shipping.

I got lucky and caught them before they sold.

Hi @kgulby63 

Do you use Sell Similar from other Sellers?  If so, it can happen that way if their items were set with Free shipping.  Did you create brand new listings? It's possible the default on a new listing could be Free shipping, I've seen Best Offer turned ON as the default when creating a new listing or template with the new listing tool.
