A significant number of sellers obscure the real, posted price of an item by abusing shipping information. As in a more transparent market place, buyers should be given choices. As of now, one finds obscenely and astronomical shipping fees without remedy. The challenged buyers used the USPS as a scapegoat. Let the buyer determine what works best.

Shop by total price, either lowest or highest first.  Then you can easily ignore the seller who try to abuse the split between item and shipping.
