Shipping address selection never works

I routinely travel between two residences, when I buy stuff for delivery to my not primary address, I select for it to be shipped to the not primary address and buy it and then it always gets shipped to my primary address even though I selected for it to be shipped to the other location.  It has done this to me 6 times now, with 0% success rate.  How can I fix this so it actually gets delivered ti the address that I select?

When checking out, are you using the "Change address" link, and then selecting the proper address? When you do so, does the correct address appear before you commit to the purchase?

Which address appears in the order details? That is the address the seller receives and must ship to.

If you are having problems switching between addresses, I suggest making the address you want to use at the moment your primary address, and then deleting your alternative address entirely. When you want to switch, add the new address, and make it the primary address.

Always check which address appears at checkout before committing to the purchase.

I ship to multiple addresses as well, and I make it a point to always check both the address and the payment method before committing to the purchase. I checked just now and realized that I had edited my primary address to ship to someone else the last time I made a purchase and I had not switched back to my name, so I can understand that it is very easy to make a mistake.

Thanks for the quick reply.  I always use the mobile app when shopping.  After I click the "buy it now" button, it takes me to a screen where I can include a message to the seller, and I can choose the payment method, and there is a "Ship to" section where I can click on it and it opens up a list of address were I have shipped things to in the past, including this new residence.  So, I click on the dot next to this residence and then it changes it to that and it dumps me back to the foregoing screen where it then reflects the correct address that I want to ship to and then I click on the "Pay now with" button and complete the purchase, and then it ends up being shipped to the other address in the end.

My experience using the app to make purchases with alternate addresses is quite limited, so I cannot say for certain whether what you describe is a common problem with the app.

It might be worth using a browser instead of the app to change your shipping address at checkout if you cannot trust the app to do so.
