Shipping address change

A buyer messaged me to ship to another address. Should i be concerned?

You are required to ship to the address provided with the Ebay notification of the buyer's payment.

Respond to the buyer telling them that you are required to ship to the address provided by Ebay, but if they request a cancellation, you can cancel the transaction, relist and the buyer can re-purchase the item using the correct shipping address.

Did you confirm that the request came from the actual buyer?

Thanks for the reply. The message was from the actual buyer. I sensed it was a scam and contacted ebay. They said I would not be covered if I shipped to a different address and the buyer claimed the item wasn't received.  I cancelled the transaction and asked the buyer to update his address and repurchase.  I highly doubt he will. Thanks again
