Shipping Small items

I am sure this has come up many time.  But hope I can get help.

I am selling something that is small and it would fit in a white mailing envelope.
I sell alot of these items. I don’t like charging the Customer more for shipping then the items.  I would like to sell with free shipping and put in this white envelope.

But Ebay puts a ding on my rating because it is not traceable.  Does anyone have any clever ideas?

Thanks D

Re: Shipping Small items

Some small items, like stamps coins and sports card have a special label that provides tracking on a plain white envelope, but linens and craft supplies are not included.  They may be added in the future, but the thickness is an issue - to use a regular stamp, your envelope can not be more than 1/4" thick.

You do not have to be at 100% on tracking - for top rated you need 95% tracking validated by carrier. So the trick is to keep your items without tracking to just a few % of your packages.

Some sellers open a second ID to sell the items with no tracking. That way their main ID can be top rated.
