Selling limit of $100? What is going on"?

I've been an ebay buyer and seller for decades.  I used to sell often but had some health problems and personal issues (Marital woes), plus selling a house and buying a new one so I've not sold anything for over  year.  So 3 (4?) days ago I tried to set up a listing... I've no problem buying things on ebay btw.  Got one of those error messages that tells you nothing about why your listing is wrong and tried to just make it as short as possible and try again.  Then it told me I wasn't allowed to list until I talked to someone.  They suggested my address info needed to be updated (Fair Enough) but then wanted my banks routing number and my account.  I wasn't keen on giving that out but I did and they said the routing number was wrong.  I googled it and it showed my bank so. They it was suggested the account number might be a member number.  In anyevent I sent a message to verify this and went back to post a listing.  It said I had a $100 limit on products I could sell SIGH... So I listed something for $100 and another error.  My girlfriend suggested this account was hopelessly goofed up and to just set up a new one.  That let me post.  Didn't complane about any $100 spending limie and my device listed.  I came back to see if the pix assocaited with it we good and was told I was perminantly suspended.  Is this just me?  Is EBAY out of its mind?  I set up the new account assuming this one is just totally munged.  It reported that it was perminantly suspended.  Its now 4 day of this nonsence to list something.  Any ideas on how to get in touch with the right person who can end this waste of my time?

@doverresearch ,

Here is a link to contact eBay. Use the automated assistant and type AGENT to get in touch with eBay. eBay opens at 5 AM PT.

I suspect that opening a new account when your original account was restricted is why this happened. You needed to resolve any issues with your original account. I'm sorry this happened.

Edited to add: I should have checked your feedback history as a seller. You have 3 negative feedbacks on the first page so that might be where the problem is. I didn't go back any further than your first page of feedback as a seller.

Make sure the name you registered with on ebay matches exactly to the name on your checking account.  If you need to add a middle name or initial, do it in the first name space.  My ebay > Summary > Account > Personal information

Make sure you use a physical street address and not a P.O. Box.  You can use a P.O. Box as your SHIP FROM address.

Thanks... I'll give this one last try.  If I keep getting the run around I'll just have to find someplace that at least can tell me what they think the problem is.  Yes - I'm sure the last sales I had were negative.  I was in the hospital and lost count how many times I've been cut into.  SIGH...  I'll have to check (if I can find where) to see my feedback.

When they told me I must be using the wrong routing number I typed it into google and it took me to my bank.  Then they said maybe its my account number not being on checks but a members number.  You see the problem really is the moving target.  WHAT is holding it up.  Rechecking for them the routing number and account numbers using Google seems pretty much something they should understand but....

You need to use your bank's ACH routing number, which is not necessarily the same number that appears on your checks.
