Selling internationally

I have international shipping turned on and I have a person who wants to buy something from me in the US and she lives in the UK.  However, the UK is not listed as a choice on my international shipping even though it also shows I have not excluded anything?

Re: Selling internationally

@williamiowa   You are enrolled in the eBay International Shipping Program.   This means for items that qualify you just ship to the US hub and your job is done as a seller.   eBay handles the international shipping and ANY refund requests and you keep the sale.

Not all items qualify for international shipping due to import restrictions and restrictions of the program that you can see on this page>

https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/shipping-items/setting-shipping-options/ebay-international-shippin...

Many items are blocked for shipping to the UK.  If you'd to share the item number we can take a look at the listing and see what shipping you have set up.

Shipping to the UK is not offered on this listing.

I see that the item is a plush toy.  The EIS seems to block shipment of ALL plush toys to the UK.   I am not sure if this is a UK import restriction that the system is reading incorrectly or what the exact reason is.

The bottom line is the plush toy can't be shipped to the UK with the EIS program.

There are rigorous UK safety rules that make plush toys not worth the trouble, even if I understood what they mean.  This link takes you to a google AI discussion on it:  https://www.google.com/search?q=can+plush+toy+be+shipped+to+the+UK
